4. Request Screening

• Ask the property manager to start your background screening.
• Note: If you already completed screening, simply notify us of your intent to occupy.
• Check your email for an automated identity verification link.
• Pay the $35 non-refundable screening fee per adult applicant or occupant.

Essential Leasing Policies

• 🚭 Smoking Policy: All McKenna Agency rental properties are strictly non-smoking. [1]
• 🐾 Pets & Service Animals:
  • Let us know immediately if you have pets. We will guide you toward pet-friendly properties and explain specific pet rent or deposit requirements.
  • If you have a Service Animal, please have your official documentation ready and inform us during your initial inquiry. [1]

  • Security Deposit: Must be paid in full at or before your lease signing.

Renters Insurance Requirement
All tenants must maintain an active renters insurance policy throughout the duration of the lease. You may purchase coverage through any provider of your choice. [1]
